#04-The Beauty of the Unknown
Dear Courageous Superstar,
‘Looking back at the last six months of your life, can you account for how you spent it and evaluate what you did well, where you flopped, and what you did great? By taking responsibility for your actions and life, you will avoid an endless cycle of not fulfilling your true potential.’ This was my primary takeaway from a conversation I had early this year. I was stuck on how best to solve my challenge and move to the next thing, but that ignited a spark because I learned that we often repeat inevitable mistakes. After all, we choose to avoid taking responsibility either consciously or subconsciously.
This transcends to making excuses instead of finding the root cause of certain things happening and your role in the situation. This can be either with your choice of words, especially if negative words are being said often, or even constant complaints can affect the overall outlook of the situation. I love these questions from the book ‘How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want To Be' by Jack Canfield; he mentioned that if things go wrong and do not go according to your plan, these questions can guide you. How did I create that? What was I thinking? Where are my beliefs? What did I or did I not say? What do I need to do differently next time? Taking 100% responsibility would propel you into owning and driving the course of your life and bouncing back no matter how often you fail or evaluate a situation wrongly.?
I would also love to view this concept as dancing with the tune of the unknown and being bold and courageous to do what scares you the most because what is the worst thing that can happen? Either you become a better version of yourself or remain stagnant or move backwards, which I doubt would be the case. I have embraced knowing that for every decision or step I take, there will be repercussions for my actions, so if I want different results in the next six months, I need to act differently and approach the challenges that I encounter with a winning mindset and see them as a learning opportunity and thoroughly enjoy living and being present. What would you do differently in the next six months if you want different results or to improve the quality of your life? Let me know; I hope to hear from you.

I am signing out by recommending my song for the week. It is an extended worship session by Nigerian worship ministers Sunmisola Agbebi and Yinka Okeleye. You can access it here. This worship fits perfectly with my unique season, and I hope it uplifts you and gives you the sense and ability to dance and embrace this season of your life. I wish you a fruitful week and hope to hear from you soon.
Sending lots of love,
Success.
