The Beauty of a Property Off-Island

Of course, Montreal is a beautiful landscape and high-in-value when it comes to purchasing a property. But what about purchasing off-island - what are the benefits there? Many areas such as Laval and Brossard have gained massive popularity in most recent years due to their attractive price points or lifestyle options, but what about the going further West into the Pincourt / ?le-Perrot area?

As you may have heard the ?le-aux-Tourtes bridge is under re-construction, causing closures and immense delays when commuting causing many to re-think where they would like to live especially with the new REM. But have we thought about the post-bridge re-construction?

The island off of Highway 20 has now gained more popularity than before due to its easier access point on and off island, making it an interesting location to invest in. I would say they are plenty of other reasons why and here my personal top 3.


  1. Nature: Both areas boast beautiful natural surroundings, including waterfront views, parks, and green spaces. This makes them ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a scenic, tranquil living environment. You can also find great walking paths and access points to go paddle boarding, kayaking and other aquatic sports.
  2. Community Oriented: Excellent schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and numerous year-round community events. This fosters a welcoming atmosphere, making them attractive for families and young individuals looking to start their lives as a couple. The area stands with a low crime rate, well-maintained public services, and a range of recreational facilities, including sports centers, marinas and golf courses.
  3. House Options and Affordability: This area offers a variety of housing options, from single-family homes and townhouses to condos and waterfront properties. This diversity allows buyers to find a property that suits their specific needs and preferences.

Do not forget the expected & new Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital in Vaudreuil anticipated for 2026. This hospital is the largest healthcare project in the region and is designed to address the growing healthcare needs of the community. The new facility will serve as a training site for McGill University students and residents as well, enhancing its role as a center for medical education and research.

So strike now and reap the benefits later.
