That beautiful feeling of "making a difference" in the work we do as a Coach.

This picture was taken after a very long day of hiking on the Wild Coast, South Africa. When I look at it, I feel the peace, the tired body and satisfaction of having achieved well, having done a tough thing and quietly, feeling proud of myself.

Do we feel like that at the end of our working day? Do we feel that we have achieved something, other than earning our crust of bread? Do we know that we have made a difference to someone else, because of the amazing work we do as coaches? We may not get this every day, but I think we are blessed to have these feelings relatively often. When a client has a great mindset shift, an "Aha" moment, a huge realisation that will set them on a different trajectory, I feel so lucky to be doing this wonderful work of being a Coach.

However, we often DON'T know what has happened to our clients after they leave coaching. So I try and make contact with all my clients on their birthdays- just a point of contact once a year- so not being too intrusive. I got this response today after I wished an old client Happy Birthday: " All good here thanks Cherri. I'm still teaching and enjoying it. Feeling very happy and blessed. My time with you was a turning point in my life, and I will always be grateful to you"....Aaaah that gives me such a great feeling! I'm sure you have success stories you would like to share too?
