#plasticpollution is a reality none of us can run from. Over the last one week, we have been looking at the general concept of environment and even introduced the #worldenvironmentday taking a historical perspective. The most common question is, now that we have known and we know that it is important, what then can we do?

As we attempt to sharpen that focus to the subject of plastics, Hesco Consulting Services Ltd has over the years pursued extended involvement in bringing positive change to the this subject. We intentionally chose to get our hands dirty and be active players in the actioning of environment conservation and the fight against #climatechange

Plastic is one of those areas and today we will take you through our process of recycling that we through our partners are then able to see an active and tangible outcome to our business operations. The number do not lie, the situation with plastics is dire. But here is the good news, the opportunity is massive. There are many other fronts and with the stewardship of UN Environment Programme on #worldenvironmentday2023 under the theme #beatplasticpollution we as Hesco Consulting Services Ltd will be attempting to bring to light the global guide and strategies that you as a business or even individuals can be a part of to ensure that we are moving in one direction.

From the image, we can see that the numbers are enormous. The tail end of all this waste is as shown below

With only 9% of global plastic produced being recycled, it means that we have approximately 91% opportunity of proper and better management.

Today we have prepared for you our initiative and more active area of plastic pollution reduction by regenerating plastic waste into Heavy Fuel Oil through partnerships. We onboard organizations in capacity building for proper handling and recycling of waste to ensure that they can join our plastic recycling value chain for economic value.
