Beat the Monday Blues

Your morning timer goes off once more. You hit the off button for the fourth time, and you drive yourself to get up against the calm fights of your body and mind. Slowly, you check the lock screen of your telephone – Monday.

If this battle at the start of a workweek is natural to you, the odds are that you have encountered the ‘Monday Blues'. The unavoidable blues can regularly advance in as right on time as Sunday evening and affect a completely decent end of the week.

While this is genuinely normal and we don't need to surrender to the Monday tensions.

The following are a couple of ways that have assisted me with conquering the blues.

1.??????Plan ahead: Wrap up all the outstanding tasks by Friday evening. This will make things easier when Monday morning rolls around. I write my To-do list for Monday morning so that I need to get done for the week. It helps to reduce weekend anxiety.

2.??????Ease into it: Start your Monday with an easy and achievable task. Schedule the difficult meetings to later days of the week. This will ease the transition between a relaxed weekend and a busy workweek.

3.??????R & R: Rest and Relaxation are fundamental to a cheerful, effective, and even life. Being a working mother, my weekend is usually filled with household chores and other family social engagements but I try to do my best to enjoy some quiet downtime.

4.??????Get Plenty of Sleep & Rise Early: Try to sleep early on a Sunday night. If you sleep late and wake up late the next more, everything seems nothing but a mess. Don’t plan to do too much on a Sunday evening and if you do, make sure you get home at a reasonable time to still get a good night’s sleep.

5.??????Live Positively: Start the week off on a positive note. Be grateful for the opportunities which have been presented to you. Being busy at work keeps our minds active, challenges us, rewards us, and is the gateway to living the life we want to live!?Aim to think positively and live positively. When you do, it opens your mind up to some pretty incredible things.
