BEAT: THE GAME - Create Music As You Play

I was fortunate enough to meet Cemre Ozkurt of Worm Animation at GDC (Game Developer's Conference) last year. As we discussed their upcoming game, "BEAT: The Game," I was taken by how unique it was - collect musical instruments and samples as you play in a surrealistic Dali-style landscape, and create your own music in the process!

He had mentioned to me that they need music for the cinematic sequences, and I jumped at the chance. Since this game needed a synth-based musical palette, I dug around and dusted off some of my old ones to help create a sonic landscape that would match the surrealist overtones of the game.

I'm happy to say the game has won numerous awards (including "Best Art Award" at the Intel Mix Media Showcase), and will be at the Xbox One booth at GDC!

Stop on by and say hi if you'll be at the convention. In the meantime, here's a trailer for the game (soon to be released -- details to follow!)
