The time period used to collect the beacon receive sample for antenna peaking is the beacon soak time. This is one of the most sensitive parameters of the antenna controller. Based on this parameter controller will decide how many seconds of beacon readings to average peaking, step tracking, and taking final measurements.?
Let’s think in advance with values???
Manufacturers are strongly advised not to change it from the default value.?
After the movement finishes the system allows the controller to receive a few beacons receive samples and it will automatically ignore by the system Tia time period is called beacon settle time. Beacon receivers often do not react instantaneously to signal level changes, and this feature allows the installer to suggest to the NGC that a small amount of time should pass before measuring the current beacon level.
Thank you
