In our extensive experience, we've found that one of the core skills a great salesperson needs to have is the ability to effectively control a sales conversation so that it naturally lands at their desired outcome.
One of the ways that you can think about how to shape such a conversation is shown on this graphic - the first part of your call or meeting should be focused on setting up the conversation and gathering any facts you need to strengthen your proposition, and then once this is done?switching into positioning your solution and moving towards a transactional close.

Double Recognition for our Award-Winning Team
We’re thrilled to share two exciting pieces of news! Firstly, a couple of weeks ago we received this fantastic trophy for being awarded Gloucestershire’s Business Consultancy of the Year, a testament to our unique approach and dedication to empowering businesses with the tools, expertise, and support they need to thrive. Coming Together: Quarterly Team Meeting Full of Strategy and Fun
Last week saw the Firestarter team come together from across the UK for our quarterly team meeting. These sessions are vitally important to us, giving us the time and space to come together and review results, share ideas and hatch exciting new plans. They also give us the opportunity to have a bit of fun: as this exercise demonstrated, we aren't necessarily the best at building towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows, but we do know how to enjoy ourselves in the attempt. Congratulations to Peter Bell and his team for their winning creation!
