Beachbody? - A Husband's Perspective

1 year ago, my wife Maggie asked me what I thought about her pursuing a new career. I was ecstatic that she would want to contribute since we were a family living on my sole income. She told me she was considering working as an entrepreneur and becoming a Coach for Beachbody.

She had been using the Beachbody products and doing the Beachbody workouts. During this time, I saw a complete change in her both mentally and physically. At first I looked at Beachbody as a “pyramid scheme”, but I soon found out it was far from that and that it was much more.

I believed in her gave her full support throughout this process. I often hear from other coaches that they do not get the support they feel they deserve from their significant others. Guys, trust me it was hard, but positive reinforcement produces positive results.

Because I supported her she tried harder, she gave it her all every day, she was fully motivated. Why? Well for a couple of reasons. First, because she really wanted to help people change their lives for the better. Second, because she knows that I support her throughout her journey.

I must ask you, have you ever had a spouse, partner, friend, parent, anyone tell you that you couldn’t achieve something? How did that make you feel?

Support is key in this business and I saw the effects soon into her new career.

Maggie’s pay checks increased and she was announced as being one of the Top 10 Coaches out of 15,000. This was awesome, BUT it wasn’t until the Top 10 Coaches and their spouses were invited to Las Vegas that everything changed. The reason things changed so drastically was because of the people I was with. It was truly inspiring, encouraging and motivating to spend that week with so many great and optimistic people.

I met people who had stories of transformations from sick to healthy, and from over-weight to physically fit. I met people who were working in jobs they hated and have since quit their 9-5 jobs and are working as Beachbody Coaches... and are killing it. Most of these people are making more than they ever did throughout their careers. I met couples who are now BOTH working from home as a Beachbody Coaches. I met people that went from being on government assistance to debt free. I met people with addictions who overcame them. I met people who genuinely care and are passionate, not just about one thing but about life in general. I met people with goals and visions not to just build a business, but to help others do the same. I saw a company that is truly working not to just make money, but to help people. A company filled with people from all walks of life that together are making a difference.

I had to write about this from a husband’s perspective as I want everyone to know how motivational and inspirational this company is. Beachbody, thank you for changing our lives. You have provided Maggie with both the mental and physical stability she needed. She is a true inspiration to everyone to lead healthier and happier lives and for that I am truly grateful.
