Tip – If, like my mum, you want to know how to cover up your whole body when you’re on the beach… check out my mini instruction guide!
I was in Greece recently… it was seriously HOT. I’m not too good in the heat, my body usually swells up and I go all blotchy.?
If you’re a buff Olympic diver like our fantastic GB team in France (woo hoo go Tom Daley!) then you most definitely are beach body ready. However most people need an exposure strategy, and mine is to COVER UP as much as I can.?
My mum, who is blessed with darker skin as she’s half Egyptian, wanted me to send her a video with details of how I cover up my white skin and manage rowing and swimming in 34 degree heat – so I sent her the above video!
Do you remember those adverts “Beach Body Ready?” a few years back? LOL. They used to trigger me for many reasons.
All I can think of is?“beach body dready!”
I used to be embarrassed about being the whitest person on the beach. I tried fake tan in my teens, I’ve burnt to a crisp on several occasions and now I’m at peace with it, as I know there’s no point in trying to get a tan or a perfectly toned bod! And I have one very helpful tip that’s changed my life…
?Hello long-sleeved swimming costume! Such a relief.
Hey, I’m not a Boden ambassador, however their cozzies are incredible.
Here’s a cheeky voucher if you’re feeling beach body dready…
Please do share your sunscreen stories with me; what are you watching?
And what are you doing to survive the heat?
Until next time,
Eyes and teeth!
