Budgeting for Regeneration?
Do you have a budget for regeneration??
Not your area??
Do you drink coffee??
?
We eliminate single-use cups globally by creating a new habit for the world.?
We have created a new business model for the world, a regenerative business model...?
We’re early innovators in this space, putting us ahead of the usual budget cycles for corporate and government sectors—the areas that stand to benefit most from what we’re achieving.?
We are now approaching brands / corporate to lead the way in sponsoring and role modelling specific areas of the Our Kinds model.?
?
Discoveries from Our Trials?
Any organisation required to report on ESG, and with teams who enjoy coffee, could benefit from supporting the Our Kinds movement.?
?
These are just some of the UN Sustainable Development Goals we hit with our Model
Goal 3 - Health?
We support cafés in transitioning away from plastic to ceramic, steel, or glass.?
?
Goal 4 - Education?
We're creating and testing training programs with roasters, charities, universities, and more?to open doors to the hospitality industry for people who face barriers to traditional employment.?
?
Goal 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation?
Any organisation involved in constructing major projects near cafés can benefit from our model—in just a matter of weeks.?We achieved 100% reuse at The Corner Store Subiaco, with a whole lot of?support and smiles from our high-vis customers.
Construction workers LOVE the ease of borrowing and returning a ceramic cup and have a whole lot of fun with our pre-loved op shop cups.?
“I love the coffee, and it tastes better in these cups. I scoop up the cups wherever I see them. It’s a great excuse to get another coffee.”? - Damo
There is so much construction?alongside medium density apartments and retail?in Footscray , Victoria, and so much opportunity?for the ?Our Kinds ?model to influence a transition to reuse, and so we are?in conversation with cafés, waste managers, community groups, and more. ?
Why not join the conversation? Get in touch .?
Goal 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth?
Our business model encourages the creation of real employment for people who face barriers to mainstream employment—Indigenous communities, those with disabilities, and international students.?
Goal 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities?
We prevent?single-use cups from entering the waste management system.?
?
Goal 12 - Responsible Production and Consumption?
Through increasing avoidance of single-use cups, we reduce production of single use cups.?
Our second-hand cup initiative avoids second-hand waste for charities and councils.?
?
Goal 17 - Partnership for the Goals?
Our Kinds is a supply chain solution fuelled by collaboration, globally. ?
We ran a Reuse Training Trial with International Students from The University of Western Australia at Dimatinna Coffee .?
Before the session, 1 in 4 students were interested in a job in hospitality; post-session, all 4 were keen.?
?
We are now seeking funding to grow our team, enable greater collaboration and scale our business, and there are different ways in which you can support us:?
Why not demonstrate your genuine interest to ESG and the UN SDG s by subscribing to or sponsoring the Our Kinds movement??
We can help you achieve real results against your waste goals.
?
Resources?
This week, we ask you to consider how you could support resource development in these areas:?
?

1 周Great stuff Karen Monaghan. Thought provoking ... I just got off a Circana State of FMCG Australia Webinar. Challenge was the rebalance of competing priorities with 'Cost of Living' pressures impacting desire for sustainability at a macro level Sustainability sacrifice in affordability (if unavoidable) can be offset by minimising effort (easy wins) and making comms easy to see and comprehend - real opportunities for communication
