Be About It: Embrace Imperfection and Jump Right In!
Hello,
Welcome to the latest edition of "Be About It," where I, Marelle Couture, share my journey of embracing imperfection and diving headfirst into the world of art. Today, I want to inspire you to take that first step and jump into your career and life path, even if everything isn't perfectly lined up. Let's explore my story and ways to find the courage to begin your own adventure now, today!
Starting with Imperfection
I started my artistic journey with nothing but cardboard, a chair, and a dream. My early paintings were beautiful, but my resources were far from perfect. My business cards and website were works in progress. However, I didn't wait for everything to fall into place. I was about it, rather than just thinking about it. My story is a testament to the power of taking imperfect action.
1. Embrace Imperfection
I realized that waiting for everything to be perfect was holding me back. Embracing imperfection allowed me to grow and learn along the way. I absolutely marched to my own tune.
2. Take Small Steps
Breaking down my big goals into smaller, manageable tasks helped me move forward without feeling overwhelmed by the need for perfection.
3. Be Open to Learning
Accepting that I didn't have all the answers right away opened me up to new experiences and knowledge that I could use to refine my craft.

4. Seek Support and Guidance
Surrounding myself with a supportive community of friends and mentors who understood my journey and provided valuable advice was crucial to my progress.
5. Redefine Success
I learned that success is not a fixed destination but a continuous journey of growth and learning. Redefining success as progress allowed me to let go of the need for perfection and focus on my personal development. And this brought about more joy in my day to day journey.
Be About It
My journey is a reminder that sometimes, it's more important to be about it and take that first step, even if it's imperfect, rather than waiting for everything to be flawless. Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction. So, what's holding you back from starting your journey today?
Take that first step, embrace imperfection, and watch your dreams unfold, one beautifully imperfect piece at a time. You have the courage within you to begin, so seize the moment and be about it. I believe in you!
I hope my story has inspired you to embrace imperfection and take that leap of faith into your own journey. Stay tuned for more stories, tips, and advice to help you on your path to success.
Until next time, remember, it's better to start imperfectly than to wait perfectly. You got this!
Sincerely,
Marelle Couture
