BCS support to attend EuroCarto 2022

The British Cartographic Society is pleased to offer individual members the opportunity to apply for support of up to ￡250 to attend?EuroCarto 2022, the regional ICA conference that will take place in Vienna, Austria from 19-21 September 2022. This biennial gathering is a major event in the cartographic calendar and includes workshops, research presentations and exhibitions. This year's conference is co-organised by the BCS and the national mapping societies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland.?

Applicants shall meet the following conditions:

• ?You?must be a current individual member of the BCS (i.e., Student, Affiliate, Full, Overseas, Fellow, or Hon. Fellow);
• You must not be in receipt of an ICA Scholarship to attend EuroCarto 2022; and
• You must provide a written report to?Maplines?and/or submit a paper to?The Cartographic Journal?(More details on BCS publications)

Applications will be considered by a subcommittee drawn from BCS Council and the UKCC. Funds can be put towards registration, travel or accommodation. Note: if you have not already registered for EuroCarto,?BCS will arrange registration on your behalf if your application is successful.
