What Judges Are Looking For

Judges will be looking for evidence in the following areas, each with a maximum word count of 200:

1. Ethics and values: Provide an example of where your professional judgment was not taken seriously and what you did about it.
2. Leadership: Share an instance where you motivated your organization or a client’s workforce to reach a continuity/resilience goal.
3. Working with others: Describe a situation where you supported groups to help them become more effective.
4. Thinking and innovating: Give an example of a problem you solved by thinking creatively.
5. Evaluating culture: Explain how you evaluated an organization/group’s culture before engaging with them.
6. Why you deserve this award: Make a case for why you deserve this award.
7. Line Manager Testimonial: Provide a line manager testimonial based on your continuity/resilience growth as a practitioner and the impact you have had on the organization in the last 12 months.
