Digital Mammography and Ultrasound
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With your support, we can expand and enhance breast imaging at the BCHS.
Currently at BCHS, patients often have to travel back and forth between the mammographic suite and the ultrasound area when receiving care. The ideal future state is to create one area for breast imaging at the BCHS, instead of caring for patients throughout various areas of the Diagnostic Imaging department.
Purchase of an additional ultrasound unit, specifically for breast imaging, will allow patients to remain in one location for all required needs including mammography, ultrasound, and biopsy. This will also free up time in the general ultrasound area to take care of more inpatients and patients from the emergency department.
The BCHS Foundation is proud to once again be part of the Split the Pot Lottery!
This lottery runs until November 27 2024. There are a total of 69 early reward and 13 grand prize winners. The estimated $1,200,000 (guaranteed minimum $500,000) jackpot is split as follows:60% of the jackpot to one (1) winner, 20% of the jackpot split between two (2) winners, and 20% of the jackpot split between ten (10) winners. There are also more early reward winners, with 69 early reward winners sharing a total of $109,000 in early reward prizes.
