BC HAS CONDUCTED NEW INVITATION ROUNDS UNDER THE BCPNP

Great news for those seeking to immigrate to Canada through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP)! On June 11, 2024, the provincial government conducted new invitation rounds, seeking skilled workers across various sectors.

A general draw was also conducted, inviting 39 candidates with a minimum score of 110 points. This demonstrates British Columbia's commitment to attracting highly skilled professionals to contribute to the province's economic growth.

The draw targeted specific professions experiencing labor shortages in British Columbia. This included:

• Early Childhood Educators (NOC 42202): Six invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued for qualified childcare professionals.
• Healthcare: The draw invited twelve candidates with a minimum score of 102 points, addressing the growing demand for healthcare workers in the province.
• Construction: The booming construction industry saw nine invitations issued to skilled workers in this sector.

In total, 66 ITAs were issued in this draw, bringing the total number for 2024 to 3,381. This highlights British Columbia's ongoing efforts to address labor market needs and attract skilled immigrants to the province.
