We have had a fantastic month, July is one of my favourite months. As we are halfway through the year, it's a great time to reflect.?
Which is exactly what we did at BBB, in our quarterly board meetings. At the beginning of July we hosted a hybrid Scale board meeting. This is so important as we get to reflect on the first half of the year, so that we can stop and regroup, then plan what we are going to do to make the second half of the year count. ??

As service-based business owners, it’s really tricky to get your service across to people who have yet to experience it.
?That’s why we are creating these snippets take straight from our sessions.?[We get permission for each one as we never share anything confidential.]?
And I’m not sure if it’s the last push before the looming summer holidays?
Or is it our members reaping the rewards of our recent sales challenge?
But they are all SMASHING IT!???
We have to look within
We?have?to?look?within.
Triggers are really annoying.?
I?have?plenty, certain things that really wind me up, although they’re getting less with years of working on them.
Over the years though, I’ve learned that almost 100% of these?have?nothing?to?do with what’s going on around me and everything?to?do with what’s going on inside.
It’s easy?to?point the finger,?to?suggest that?we’ve been wronged in some way.?
Makes us feel better in the short term.
But it’s disempowering and ultimately leads?to?more issues later on.
It takes courage?to?own your triggers and see the opportunity?to?heal and solve long term wounds in things that?have?upset you.
Running a successful business is so much about our attitude and mindset.?
These unresolved issues can wreak havoc on our ability?to?grow and be successful.
Next time you get triggered, go?within.
Allow yourself?to?be with the emotions and let them rise and pass.
Don’t stew.?I know this is hard but it doesn’t help.
Remember, the unconscious will try?to?protect you,?have?the courage?to?explore what it might be protecting.
It is possible someone is just being an arsehole, but even if that’s the case, there is still opportunity for us?to?go?within?and heal something deep?within?us.?
Have?courage, else you’ll find you keep getting triggered by the same thing until you do.?Trust me, I know this from bitter experience.?:)
Three of our BUILD members are graduating to SCALE this month!?
This is a really key milestone for us.??
BUILD is our under £100K club and SCALE is our over £100K club.??
We get a lot of validation about the work that we do on a monthly basis - in the sessions, text messages, group updates and social media posts sharing successes and progress...?
But for me, it's really special when somebody transitions from BUILD to SCALE.??
Most people who join us in the BUILD arena can't imagine hitting £100K. It's a pipe dream for them. So when it happens, it's worth a celebration.???
It brings me so much joy!???
So, well done to them and well done us!?

I just closed a new BUILD member, and it took me.....12 months! I’m very glad I didn’t let that one go.???
We do need to ascertain whether somebody is a real opportunity for us or not as quickly as possible though.??
What I see most business owners do, especially in the early days when they're learning sales, is hold onto opportunities too long. A lot of time and energy is wasted chasing opportunities that were never going to be an opportunity at all.??

At the end of Q2 we took our whole team out to Bottomless Brunch to celebrate what an amazing first half of the year we had, and as a thank you to the greatest team!
I am so proud of my team. They are constantly levelling up- even when you think that it’s not possible!?
