BB7 acquire Goldsmith Engineering.

I am delighted to announce that BB7 Group Limited has acquired Goldsmith Engineering in order to strengthen our teams in Dublin and Belfast.

Goldsmith Engineering are an award-winning engineering practice with offices in Belfast, Dublin and London. They have a portfolio of prestigious projects worldwide across multiple disciplines, and are a great compliment to BB7 Group Limited. The acquisition of Goldsmith Engineering also demonstrates our commitment to investing in the Irish and Northern Irish Market.

Goldsmith Engineering has been the young, innovative growing business on the island of Ireland. For me it was and is, the one to watch. So it’s a great fit for BB7 and we have many shared aspirations. Goldsmith Engineering offer industry-leading Fire Engineering design for some of the most prestigious and exciting building projects worldwide. They are qualified to thoroughly inspect and certify construction works and act as Assigned Certifiers in Ireland under Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR). They are also qualified to act as Health & Safety Design Coordinators in the capacity of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) for building projects.

BB7's internal M&A team, investors and advisors were impressed by Goldsmith Engineering, in terms of it's offerings and people. The amalgamation of our Irish operations with Managing Director Luke Goldsmith, David Quinn, Peter Mc Kay, Eoin Troy and their teams, joining our BB7 directors in Ireland, William Ward and Ray Quinn, will increase the number of Chartered Engineers and ensure we have the technical and leadership skills, resources and capabilities to become the leading independent firm in Ireland and make our contribution to a safer future. 

We have bold and ambitious plans for 2021 and are seeking ambitious, progression seeking fire engineers to join our teams in Dublin and Belfast, but we are also open to ensuring full coverage of Ireland with home-based consultants in Cork and Galway or Donegal.
