We recently held a webinar on maximizing holiday ROI with a full-funnel content strategy, which gave us the perfect excuse to showcase one of our favorite holiday creator campaigns. A few seasons back, L’Occitane teamed up with micro-creators to showcase their special edition gift sets featuring illustrations by renowned French artist Tristan Bonnemain, and the outcome was truly ?enchanting?.

Creator marketing took center stage at Cannes Lions last week with Digiday even declaring it the “Festival of Creators” . It’s no surprise that creator marketing continues to gain ground at events like this, with analysts estimating that the creator economy will hit an astounding $480 billion by 2027. As Cannes Lions CEO Simon Cook acknowledged, “with potential growth of this scale, it’s crucial that the Festival plays a role in bringing together the platforms, the brands, the creators, and the agencies.”

The presence of creators, and those they closely work with, at the Festival underscores how creator marketing is now viewed by brands as integral to their marketing strategies. Our on-the-ground insider and Bazaarvoice Global Social Media Manager, Kaylin Balderrama, shared her insights: “We heard from brands across the board about the indispensable role of creator content in their marketing mix. Creators have a unique ability to forge authentic connections with consumers that brands can’t replicate alone.”
