Bay Area Real Estate Weekly Update | Friday, September 2nd

Friday, September 2nd,?2022

Happy Friday, I can't believe we are already in September! Here are some fun activities to beat the Bay Area heat over the next couple of days.

If you're looking to have a fun time with the kids before summer ends, check out?Raging Waters San Jose. Founded in 1985, Raging Waters is Northern California's largest water park. Attractions include a 350,000-gallon wave pool.

And if you want to spend some quality time on the water, check out?Shoreline Lake, where you can rent a stand-up paddleboard from the boathouse and go wild. There's nothing like it. Shoreline Lake also offers a host of other recreational activities, so get your family and friends together for a picnic and a day of outdoor fun.

Zillow Reports Home Values Drop for the First Time Since 2012

If you're following the housing market, you know that things have been changing rapidly. In the last few months, we've seen home prices start to crash in many markets across the US. This is particularly true in metros like San Jose, Austin, San Diego and Denver, where home prices are down 3 to 8% in just two months. It is fair to question what is causing this sudden drop in prices.

If you're thinking of buying a home in one of these markets, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on developments over the next few months. I'll be sure to keep you updated with weekly updates on what's happening in the housing market. Stay tuned!
