Baumerhhs Xtend3 systems installed throughout Australasia

Print & Pack Australia had another busy time of installing latest technology into Australasia. This time a leading folding carton manufacturer based in Auckland ordered from Print & Pack New Zealand a high end Baumerhhs Xtend3 glue application system with fully integrated quality control devices. The Xtend3 16-channel controller is equipped with the latest generation PX-1000 applicating heads allowing stitch glue applications at higher outputs thus reducing glue consumption and saving adhesive costs.

Integrated quality control devices , i.e. glue monitoring through side seam detection & extrusion glue scanning, code reading as well as position control via skew monitoring) are operated from the same 21.5 inch HMI touch screen as setting up the glue application parameters.

This is another example of the diverse engineering & training skills within the Print & Pack organisation. Congratulations to Pascal Foglietta who headed up this task following a similar installation & training intervention in Sydney earlier in the months.
