BAUFORMAT FACTORIES REMAIN OPEN
German kitchen manufacturer Bauformat remains open and keeps manufacturing. The company has implemented a shift system to keep the factory workers apart from each other. In addition to that, no Bauformat employee is obligated to work if they don't feel safe. The safety of people is the main priority in the current situation. However, everyone is incredibly motivated and morale remains high.
Bauformat USA continues working as well. The head office in Los Angeles remains open, and only a few designers decided to work from home. Design consultations and orders processing are mostly done through Skype or Facetime conferences. The office meetings and site surveys are arranged with all the necessary safety precautions.
