I didn't know what to expect with this book, but once I began reading it, I couldn't put it down. It's an heartbreaking story about lost love and a partner with an addiction, and written as a poem. I couldn't help but feel the author's pain as he goes through his life trying to get his addicted partner to stop taking drugs. He loves her dearly, but when she takes off with their son, the little boy he loves with all of his heart, he goes on a heartbreaking search to find them. He wants nothing more than to be reunited with his little son, and hopefully his wife as well. His problem is, the little boy he's loved and cared for since birth isn't his biological child, and this makes it even more difficult for him to get help because the mother has custody. The frustration and raw emotion of the author on this journey tears at the heartstrings and you just want him to succeed in getting his wife off drugs and to be reunited as a family, or at least to have some part in the little boy's life. To find out what happens, you'll have to read the book.
