?? Rock Tech Lithium and Arcore AG Merge to Create a European Lithium Firm

Rock Tech Lithium and ARCORE have signed a binding agreement to combine Rock Tech’s Guben Converter in Germany with Arcore’s Lopare mining project in Bosnia-Herzegovina. TAOKE Energy and 宁德时代新能源科技股份有限公司 (CATL) have signed a 300 MWh battery procurement deal for Japan’s grid-scale energy storage projects. Announced at World Smart Energy Week in Tokyo on Feb 20, 2025, this agreement follows a previous 350 MWh deal and supports TAOKE ENERGY’s expansion in its ESS business. Read more

Lucid Motors has signed an agreement with Syrah Resources Ltd to purchase 7,000 tonnes of natural graphite over three years starting in 2026. Sourced from Syrah’s Vidalia facility in Louisiana, the material will be used directly in battery cell production with pricing based on a natural flake graphite index. Read more

CarbonX has been awarded a €2.5M grant from the EIC Accelerator, along with €5M in equity, to enhance Europe’s active anode material supply chain. This support follows a competitive selection process from over 1,200 proposals and will aid in product development while reducing dependency on overseas sources in the automotive battery sector. ?? Vulcan Energy Mobilizes V20 Drilling Rig in Germany

Vulcan Energy has moved its V20 drilling rig to the Schleidberg site near Landau, Germany, as part of its Lionheart Project. The project is designed to produce approximately 24,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide monohydrate annually while also generating renewable heat and power. ?? Vulcan Energy Begins 2D Seismic Surveys for Geothermal Project

Vulcan Energy has received approvals to launch 2D seismic surveys in Germany’s Ludwigshafen region as part of its geothermal project with 巴斯夫 . The surveys, covering 75 km of roadway, will help plan future 3D surveys for placing geothermal and lithium wells to supply renewable heat for BASF’s Verbund site. Read more
