While reading Warren Buffet's The Snowball, the perspective of viewing your brain like a bathtub full of memories caught my attention. While many would find Warren Buffett's investment mantra enlightening and no doubt be keen on emulating it, I personally found that the book contains interesting nuggets of implementable advises as well.
Fill your mind with the latest, relevant and prioritized thoughts. As soon as those thoughts, memories and experiences hold no value for you, pull the plug and make space for newer ones!
How often do we get caught up in thoughts of the past or the future and close ourselves to the newer and different perspectives because we are constantly dwelling on them?
The bathtub phenomena is an interesting metaphor for focusing on being more 'forward looking' rather than 'backward looking'!
