Turning Moments Into Timeless Stories for Your Brand's Legacy | People, Places, Food |
Hi, my name is Roberta Dall'Alba, understanding your brand as deeply as if it were my own and creating attention-grabbing, authentic images that truly reflect your message is one of my superpowers!
#ThroughRobertasLens is an exclusive 'behind the scenes' series to offer you - brands/magazines - insights into my creative process, and demonstrate how I can take your brand's aesthetic to the next level.
Keep in mind: an apparently simple image is the result of thoughtful and strategic decisions made by an experienced photographer
Your product and story are an inspiration.
With my photography students, I talk a lot about creativity and inspiration. Inspiration is everywhere.
?? Food itself can be an inspiration, our memories can be, or colors around us, and much much much more.
And here's the amazing part: your product and your story are for me a great source of inspiration.
The product itself has stories, special features, and unique qualities just waiting to be turned into memorable images. You know, inspiration often comes from the little details and special things about your product, more than you might think at first.
And then it's my task as professional, to discover that "WOW" factor to present your product and narrate your story in the most compelling way possible. That's what guarantees the result
Just like this basil photo.
This photo - part of a personal project I shot in 2021 - draws inspiration from my primary muse: nature, thriving nature ?? But also by my “obsession” with little details.

To be precise, I am obsessed with the back of the basil’s leaf. For me, that's where the "WOW" factor is: the desaturated green, those tiny dots on the surface... they almost have a velvety appearance, and I find it incredibly satisfying.
To ensure I could capture that, I went the extra mile: not just one, but 4 plants were necessary to gather an abundance of these adorable, plump basil leaves. And that's the thing the professional does.
A reminder: what makes professional food photographers special is how we understand the little things that make a photo memorable. It's not just about showing a dish, it's about taking care of the details.
And behind all this, there's a creative process that you don't even see 'from the outside' :)
Investing in professional photos is not something fancy, it's something you really need for your brand to shine.
Let me help you do that ??
