Today, most consumers search online for information before buying products or using services, so all businesses should have an online presence as part of their marketing mix.
Online marketing is also synonymous with online advertising or internet marketing which is a hardcore way to promote a business and make it known to an audience that is of course bombarded with tons of similar stimuli every minute of the day. REMEMBER NEVER FORGET YOUR COMPETITORS !!!

Websites can use text, images, audio, and video elements to convey the company's message, as well as inform existing and potential customers of the features, benefits of the company's products or services or if the company has come up with something new to offer to its existing as well as potential customers.
- Email marketing : Email can be an effective way to maintain a relation between your business and its customers. You can purchase email addresses of customers and prospective customers, but the best results usually come from emails collected on your website. You can ask people to give you their emails through a quality free offer, such as a downloadable resource, called a lead magnet. Once you have their email id, you can send a newsletter no doubt, special offers, and other information in future to your target audience.
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM) : Let's divide search engine marketing into search engine and marketing, so search engine is nothing but looking for matches between the keyword(s) entered and its database of websites and words. Now we can say that search engine marketing (SEM) involves researching, submitting and positioning of a website basically within search engines, either by improving the site's natural (organic) ranking through search engine optimization (SEO), or buying pay-per-click (PPC) ads to achieve goals like maximum visibility.
- Content marketing: It is a long-term strategy that uses content as the name suggests in the form of blog posts or articles related to your business so as to build stronger relationship with your audience, improve engagement and improve brand recall (positioning) along with improving brand identity no doubt and then submitting blog posts or articles so that it can be published on other websites which is also an another great way to reach your target market for free.
- Social media marketing: In an increasingly connected world where consumers expect the companies to do business thereby engaging with them, social media is an ideal and powerful way to interact with prospects and customers and to have a rapport between customers and businesses. The key to social media marketing success is focusing on the platforms where you're most likely to find your target market, whether it's Instagram, Twitter, LinkdIn, Facebook, or Pinterest.
