James Fiorentino (b. 1977) is an American artist whose talent was recognized at an early age. At fifteen, he became the youngest artist ever to be featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. In 1998, James became the youngest artist to be inducted into the prestigious New York Society of Illustrators, along with such artists as Norman Rockwell and Andrew Wyeth. Today, his photorealism in watercolor has helped James to become a nationally-known sports, wildlife, and portrait artist. His remarkable, realistic paintings evoke deep emotion. Many of the works grace the walls of notable museums, galleries, universities, companies and private collections. His work has won numerous awards and can be seen nationally in books, magazines, and even on trading cards. A Drew University graduate, James was the starting shortstop for all four years of his college career.
James Fiorentino: “I don’t concentrate too much on painting a flawless image. I let my eyes and hands do the work. Just as a poet expresses himself through words, I express myself through paint. I feel fortunate to be able to use my art as a means of communication.”James Fiorentino’s “Baseball in Black and White” watercolor artwork will be on exhibit and available for purchase in the Bergino Baseball Clubhouse from October 14 - December 24, 2017.At the Opening Day/Night Reception: complimentary beer, beverages, ballpark snacks.Contact: Jay Goldberg, proprietor, Bergino Baseball Clubhouse ? 212-226-7150 ?
