Why does selling products in online Marketplaces help break barriers for your potential online customers?
This question should be on the mind of every marketer that sells products online.
So, as a marketer, to lead any E-commerce activities, we are always trying to figure out what our potential online customer is thinking.
We invest many resources and a lot of money, creating content, visual ads, Email Marketing, creative landing pages, and more. But many issues go beyond what our marketing activities are meant to address, and we don't have any control over those. One of these issues is "Personal Confidence." We oversee the Marketing and E-commerce activities of our brand; we try to do everything to let our potential online customers feel safe when they purchase from our website. Still, there are a lot of cases that it doesn't matter what we do; the confidence issue of our potential online customer is personal and not something we can control.
As a marketer that doesn't want to give up any potential customer, this issue needs to be addressed, we need to find a solution to the confidence issue with the potential customer, and this is what we are going to touch on the next.
Let's talk about Solutions (I always like positive thinking).
From my point of view, two effective solutions can make our potential buyer's confidence in the purchase go up, even though it's a bit different from culture to culture. Still, I can say that it's also pretty accurate for everyone.
1.?Using PayPal as the primary payment method – PayPal understood that the more confidence they portrayed to their customers, no matter where the customer was located, they would grow at a swift pace, and this is what happened.
Today – When you are using PayPal for your online purchase, you have the confidence knowing PayPal will back you if there are any issues. If there are any problems with the product or the order, PayPal will represent you as a customer, and your money is safe. PayPal will ultimately refund you the money from your online purchase and continue to deal with the seller. Of course, the seller is aware of that, and because PayPal is asking a certain amount for commission, some sellers prefer not to work with PayPal. (Which is wrong in my opinion).
2.?Online Marketplace – Another option is to sell your products in a prominent online marketplace; this is an excellent solution for purchase security. Why? Those who have an online store in one of the biggest online marketplaces know that most do not make life easy for sellers. Still, on the other hand, it is a paradise for buyers. They give a guarantee on orders for any possible malfunctions that may arise in the purchase process, and this is the main reason people have more self-confidence to purchase from these big marketplaces.
Let's test it now with some numbers,
