Barfield Appoints Denise Behety as Vice President of Human Resources

AFI KLM E&M American Subsidiary Barfield, names Denise Behety, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, as Vice President Human Resources.

Paris, Amstelveen, Miami, 11 of July 2023 – Barfield Inc., a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in the Americas, has appointed Denise Behety as its VP of Human Resources. Behety joins Barfield with more than 20 years of successful HR leadership experience nationwide, spanning several industries.

Behety will lead the Barfield Human Resources Team and will report directly to Gilles Mercier, CEO.

Behety began her management career in human resources in 1999 at AMC Theatres in Miami and was part of the opening team of its flagship in New York City for three years. She joined Hilton Hotels’ luxury brand Conrad as the Human Resources Manager and Training Manager before becoming Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Hotels. She later served as Human Resources Manager at AmeriHealth Caritas. After nearly six years, she took over as Head of Human Resources at Elevance Health. In 2018, she joined Solis Health Plans as Vice-President Human Resources and then was an Executive HR Consultant for Endeavor Schools. For the past three years, she has held the position of Vice-President HR & Employee Success at Key Lime Interactive.

Behety is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management and actively holds their Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification since 2015.?She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute since 2007. ?She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and earned a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
