After a hugely successful first week, leading hospitality training provider, Barfection, are thrilled to announce their partnership with Bacardi in introducing Shake Your Future, a comprehensive hospitality training course based in the heart of Liverpool.

Shake Your Future is designed to equip aspiring bartenders and hospitality professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the industry. Covering all aspects of bartending, cocktails, customer service, working in the hospitality industry and creating the perfect customer experience, this course promises to be a game-changer for individuals seeking a career in hospitality.

Shake Your Future is a global programme and it’s the first time it has been launched in the UK. There's no better place to showcase the programme than Liverpool and it is phenomenal for the city, and a huge opportunity for our 10 participants. The students will gain accredited qualifications, practical bar skills, be involved in industry visits, social media workshops, ice cutting sessions and hear from guest speakers from Bacardi.?

With our combined expertise and resources, we aim to empower participants to unleash their full potential and thrive in the dynamic world of hospitality.

Participants of Shake Your Future will benefit from hands-on training sessions, interactive workshops, and guidance from industry experts. The course curriculum is meticulously?designed?to provide?an extensive?understanding of mixology techniques, customer engagement strategies, and leadership skills essential for success in the field.?It’s never been done in the UK before, is the only course of it’s kind, and one the Liverpool students will benefit from greatly.?

From over 350 applicants we have gone through a tough interview process to offer 10 places onto a 6 week course. The course will include bar skills, category knowledge, capability sessions, garnish making and ice cutting, social media workshops, interview techniques, distillery and brewery tours and so much more. They will meet a huge selection of guest speakers including some of Bacardi’s brand ambassadors, trainers and local bar owners who have?carved out the Liverpool hospitality scene over the years.

Our students?will graduate with 3?BIIAB?Level 2 accredited qualifications:??

The outcome is to place all of these students in to full time employment across the city and see them progress within the hospitality scene.
