Google BARD AI – What’s ahead (5 Min)
Google's Bard, a collaborative tool powered by generative AI, is set to become even more versatile. Since its launch, Bard has been enhanced with the PaLM 2 large language model, improving its math and coding skills. Now, Google is making Bard available in over 180 countries and in Japanese and Korean, with 40 languages expected soon.
PaLM 2 is Google’s latest and greatest AI language model. The company says it’s already being deployed across its suite of software and is powering its experimental chatbot, Bard.
Microsoft is expanding preview access to its Microsoft 365 Copilot, a digital assistant based on OpenAI’s GPT-4 that brings AI-powered capabilities across Microsoft 365 apps and services. The tech giant has also announced a new indexing tool that lets Copilot more accurately report on internal company data, alongside some new Copilot features for apps like Microsoft Whiteboard, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Bluesky has exploded in popularity over the past few months, although it still lags far behind Twitter in total download volume. Bluesky is a decentralized communications app by former twitter CEO and co-founder. The social messaging app had 628,000 mobile downloads in April, representing a 606% rise from March.
privateGPT allows users to interact with their documents using LLMs without an internet connection. It ensures that no data ever leaves the execution environment of the user. Users can effortlessly ingest documents and ask questions of them using privateGPT while remaining entirely private and safe.
Meta has announced a new open-source AI model that links together multiple streams of data, including text, audio, visual data, temperature, and movement readings.
GitHub's new code search and code view are now available to all users. Developers typically spend more time reading and understanding code than writing it. The new features will help prevent time from being wasted on understanding code. They can help developers to search, navigate, and understand their code, put critical information into context, find vulnerabilities and configurations, and fix bugs.
