?? WHAT IS BICD?

??? EVENT PROGRAMME

Trade Fair and Exhibitors

The event will host a trade fair featuring 80 exhibitors. These exhibitors will offer products, services, and initiatives catering to the needs of international talent in Barcelona. Participants can find specialised resources related to property, relocation, talent management, legal and financial consultancy, insurance, medical services, and more. The education sector will also be represented by international schools and business schools, providing information on curricula and qualifications.

Arriving and Settling in the City

Over 60 activities are planned around key themes, starting with practical sessions to help newcomers settle in Barcelona. These include guidance on tax issues for the international community, understanding the local healthcare system, managing the emotional aspects of relocation, and finding schools for children.

Business and Work

The event will feature professional activities focused on business and work, such as workshops on securing funding for entrepreneurs, starting a business, exploring digital talent in tech hubs, recruiting international talent, and creating CVs or preparing for job interviews with AI assistance. Barcelona Activa will also present resources for job seekers and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Enjoying and Socialising in the City

Activities aimed at enjoying and socialising in Barcelona include a variety of events to explore the city and build connections. Highlights include a language aperitif for learning Catalan while networking, a leadership and communication workshop, and speed networking sessions tailored for professional women and the French-speaking community

Family Focus

The event will feature a festive and family-friendly atmosphere with activities for all ages, including a giant (Gegants) display celebrating its 600th anniversary, live concerts, performances in the Maritime Museum's garden, and a children's play area. A special space will also showcase the 37th America's Cup, offering insights into the regatta. The day will conclude with a lively closing party from 6-7pm, featuring a DJ set in the ágora room and a concert in the museum's garden.
