It is likely that someone you work with is neurodivergent – whether they have shared that with you or not. Creating a psychologically safe space for all employees and some reasonable adjustments is crucial to enable our neurodivergent people to thrive and ultimately succeed in their role. But how?
Rachel Boyle , the Emerging Talent Manager at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP), co-founder and co-chair of the Legal Neurodiversity Network (LNN) and founder of Nurturing Neurodivergence , explains that even small adjustments can make trainees feel more confident in their roles. Here she shares her top tips.

We're launching LLB textbooks with Hall & Stott
BARBRI and Hall & Stott Publishing are excited to announce our new collaboration to launch LLB student textbooks in areas such as Land Law, Criminal Law and Equity and Trusts, packed with real-world insights.
Sue Hall, Managing Director at Hall & Stott Publishing,?commented, “We’re thrilled to launch this collaboration with BARBRI. It’s a great opportunity for us and our authors, taking our publishing to the next level and providing law students with a greater choice of study materials."

Wrapping a successful Future Lawyers Convention 2024!
This month we hosted the very successful Future Lawyers Convention, with hundreds of students and would-be solicitors attending the highly interactive sessions in Manchester and London. We brought together a mix of seasoned lawyers and recruiters, all keen to share their experience with those stepping into the legal world. A huge thanks to the fantastic Jakob Sexton and Lynette Smith at Brabners for hosting our event in Manchester.

Crafty Counsel's new guide for in-house legal teams
Crafty Counsel has just released a new guide to the SQE, QWE & apprenticeships for in-house legal teams. It offers an overview of the SQE routes to qualification and how to deploy it in your organisation to maximise talent attraction, retention and diversity.
It's a fantastic collaboration between Victoria Fearne , our Head of New Business and Account Management, Jonathan Bourne at our apprenticeship partner Damar Training , and Andy Christie , Mary Bonsor and Sally-Ann O'Kane at Flex Legal .
The guide also offers case studies from early adopters. A big thank you to Ghazhal Noory and Sophie Gould at The Crown Estate, Toby McCrindle and Emily Coyne at SeedLegals , the Pennon Group Plc , and Fiona Anthony at nplaw for sharing their experience. New solicitor degree apprenticeship at Queen Mary
We have great pleasure in sharing the news that QMUL School of Law is currently developing a Level 7 Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship offering, including full SQE preparation, launching in autumn next year, supported by BARBRI 's learning technology.?Employers (whether law firms, in-house legal teams or other legal services providers) are welcome to reach out to Nigel Spencer if you're interested in partnering. Applications open for Law Society Diversity Access Scheme 2024
We're delighted to continue our support of the The Law Society's Diversity Access Scheme (DAS) for 2024, funding one candidate's SQE1 and SQE2 preparation. Now in its 20th year, this incredible initiative harnesses the power of various legal organisations to offer a scholarship to a would-be solicitor from a disadvantaged background.

Legal services provider Factor partnered with BARBRI Global to help support their first cohort through the SQE exams. Coming into the second year of the programme, Factor is thrilled that all the first cohort of participants passed their relevant exams and are continuing to progress their careers at Factor. We're hosting several informative webinar sessions with our various partners around the world to help international legal professionals navigate the complexities of eligibility, exemptions and preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) in England & Wales and the New York & California bar exams.
