·?????? Carriers are navigating the evolving market amid a strong and stable talent landscape. Industry unemployment remains low and job openings are elevated compared to pre-pandemic numbers.

·?????? Currently, 92% of companies offer a hybrid model to their employees, followed by 68% with full-time remote. 54% offer flexible work hours.

·?????? During the next 6 months, 65% of companies expect their employees in the office at least one day a week (hybrid). After the next 6 months, 19% are expecting to change their approach to require employees to be in-office more

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers Foundation Awards $395,000 in Academic Scholarships!

The Council Foundation recently announced that it is awarding $395,000 in academic scholarships to 81?college students interested in pursuing careers in insurance brokerage. Each intern selected will receive between $2,500 and $5,000 toward their college education. Since 2017, The Council Foundation Scholarship program has successfully awarded over $2 million to 430 interns. Notably, 47 percent of scholarship recipients have transitioned into their first job within the insurance industry. The Foundation’s scholarship program partners with leaders of internship programs at Council member firms, with the goal of eventually bringing these students on full time, and/or retaining them in the commercial insurance brokerage sector.?
