Barbaric Hamas

I wrote about the pain that comes from an inability or unwillingness to accept reality despite your self-image on a personal level.

This is what is at the core of Hamas’ barbarity now.

Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and their adherents are simply unwilling to accept the idea that Israel should exist as a Jewish country in the Middle East, with secure borders.

Once you understand this fundamental truth, everything goes from there.

You can’t have a two-state solution if one state refuses to accept the actual existence of the other. There would be eternal conflict.

All of the other problems, the “cycle of violence,” the killing of civilians stems from this one fact.

A white supremacist cannot accept the fact that Blacks are equal to Whites. A member of Hamas cannot accept the fact that Israel exists as a Jewish state.

This leads me to the perplexing fact of the moral bankruptcy of so many progressives. They claim to want tolerance, diversity, equality, and acceptance, yet align themselves with a group that is misogynistic, homophobic, and entirely based on hate.

I certainly don’t intend to denigrate all Muslims or all of Islam. I’ve met many who are righteous people.

However, it’s an interesting advertising strategy to be shouting “Allahu Akbar” while you drive through the streets of Gaza in a pickup truck with the naked body of a dead woman who was killed simply because she is Jewish.

This shit is simply evil.
