Banana leaf! Yesss! A delicious serving follows! I was always fascinated about the Banana Tree & its close affair with South Indian Hearts. Every part of it finds an usage and the whole tree stands as a monumental entry for auspicious occasions. An offspring sprouts from her feet, one becomes many, beautiful isn't it?
Recently, I stumbled on a google led page that spoke about the gigantic Baobab Tree. Amazing, just amazing. In the corporate world, we get trained to be resilient and 'a leader needs to be resilient' is something that we hear often. The natural tendency of human beings is to look out for drawing inspiration. Imagine a tree, that's just naturally resilient & can live for 3000 to 5000 years. The Baobab stands tall in the bad and good without compromising on serving people in best possible ways. Nature has all the inspiration human beings need. Do we have an eye for it? might be the only question.
Baobab, also called Tree of Life can store 30,000 gallons of water, has edible fruits & leaves, utility products like rope can be produced from its bark & what not. Baobab stands tall like a cosmic mother inviting people to live around, taking care of their shelter, thirst, hunger & even clothing.
The dry lands of Africa has a hope in the name of Baobab. Though a bunch of folk stories are woven around the tree of life, people offer worship even today. Children enjoy playing around these trees, may be the trees love them to be around.
I also felt, every life around us seems to be embedded with unique intelligence. Earthworm, ant, eagle, crow, spider, dog, parrot, owl, every type of trees, plants, animals, insects, everything, just everything around us seems to be operating with a natural unique intelligence. A multi-billion species, all with unique intelligence! Woww!! The creator seems to be a real OMG Stuff.
Happy knowing you Baobab! You are certainly an inspiration. The NI (Natural Intelligence) still seems to await exploration.
