Banks Ahead of the Curve: Part I
The barrage of GenAI headlines and $$$ invested/estimated makes it hard to hone on the most meaningful information and glean insights. To enable our clients to keep the rapid pulse of generative AI in banking, we are launching a biweekly newsletter, Humans ∞ GenAI: Insights for Banking Visionaries, with the initial series focused on banks (and challengers) that are ahead of the adoption curve.
The Inspiration for this Series.? Huge investment is being made in GenAI “supply,” but broad demand is lagging. As a result, early mover banks have an advantage.
In 2024, we discovered that GenAI initiatives spanned the value chain. We also found that the front office was a hotbed of early adopters. Hence, we're kicking off our newsletter with a focus on employee-facing use cases.
Banks (and Challengers) Ahead of the Curve. ?We found a diverse set of early movers that span banks of all sizes worldwide as well as fintechs. Most of them are viewed as innovation leaders and have historically been early movers in AI overall. To distinguish them, we have spotlighted them by GenAI skills below.? Today’s focus is employee-facing front office use cases. A Q1 2025 Celent report will showcase several of the leaders.
Stay tuned for our next newsletter...

Happy to see you and the Celent team focusing on this, Alenka Grealish. It will be an interesting year as use cases move from POC/pilot to production.
Alenka thanks for the insight. There are some great GenAi use cases in banking.

1 个月Hi Alenka Grealish this is super interesting, what is the source of the data please? One question; which banking divisions are you covering and therefore what is your definition of Front Office? Thanks
