BankingON Family Stories: Dmitry's Edition

Why did you choose to join BankingON?

For me, it's always been important to work for a company that is dedicated to helping other people. This way, I can feel that my job is blessed with meaning and purpose. BankingON has its mission that says "Help people to eliminate daily money stress". I decided to join the crew so that my skills and knowledge could contribute to building a prosperous and stress-free money society.

How long have you been a part of the BankingON family?

I've always been a part of the BankingON family. Originally, I worked for its predecessor AgileFusion. As soon as I heard about BankingON and its mission, the decision to join was made almost instantly.

What is unique about BankingON?

 First of all - the people. The amazing working environment in the office lets everyone feel at home. Second - is the personal approach to each employee. All the tasks the employees get are selected depending on the employee's abilities and personal preferences. I never have to work on things I don't like. Third - is "Magic The Gathering". We regularly play sealed, commander, and other custom formats.

Explain your average day or week at work:

Honestly, there are a lot of things I do so it's hard to describe an average day. Let's just say I make sure everything goes right.

What is one of your favorite work memories?

There are a lot of them! I used to live in St. Paul, MN and I worked on-site with one of our biggest partners. As a team, we developed a new mobile banking application. This credit union is so popular in MN, so I ran into members quite often on the streets, in grocery stores, in restaurants, and so on. It was so delightful to see how happy they were about our product. Before that, I did not know that my work mattered so much.
