Our charitable giving program, “The Giving Tree,” reflects the roots we have in our communities, our commitment to making a real difference in the neighborhoods we serve, and our belief that we can enhance everyone’s quality of life if we work to solve our biggest problems—together.

Over the past decade, we’ve donated more than $2.5 million to help enhance the quality of life across Central Massachusetts and northeast Connecticut, and our employees have contributed thousands of volunteer hours to causes they care most about. Beware of Tax Season Scams and Fraud

Criminals know that filing taxes can be complicated, and that stressed consumers may be more likely to fall for phishing scams in which scammers trick them into giving up their personal and financial information or impersonate the IRS. Here’s how to protect yourself:

• Safeguard your Social Security number and other personal information.?
• Never give personal or financial information to strangers who call you or send you emails or text messages requesting this information.?
• Be sure to check your bank account and credit card statements regularly for suspicious activity that could be a sign someone has stolen your personal information.
