Despite digital transformation efforts, bureaucratic delays, regulatory hurdles, and inconsistent contract enforcement continue to create friction for businesses. Investors look for?fast, efficient?legal processes and a business-friendly regulatory environment.
The Path Forward: Policy Stability & Investor Confidence
For Bangladesh to maintain its position as a preferred investment destination, we must:
??Ensure Policy Stability?– Investors need assurance that tax policies, investment regulations, and business laws will remain consistent over the long term. Sudden policy shifts discourage long-term commitments.
??Introduce Investor-Friendly Incentives?– Competitive tax policies, special economic zones, and clear FDI guidelines can encourage fresh investments.
??Strengthen Institutional Support?– Streamlining regulatory processes, enforcing contracts efficiently, and reducing bureaucratic hurdles will significantly improve investor confidence.
