How long have you been with BANF and what led you to joining the BANF team?

I have recently joined the BANF team based in Seoul, and my decision to do so was motivated by a meeting I had with its founder, Sunghan You. Mr. You's vision and passion, which he articulated during our meeting, thoroughly impressed me and convinced me that BANF offers an exciting present and a promising future.

How would you describe your role and what do you like about it? How does it challenge you?

Drawing upon my experience in the tire industry, I joined BANF with great enthusiasm to contribute to the company's leadership in transforming the smart tire sector. I am confident that my background and expertise will be an asset to the BANF team. Furthermore, I eagerly anticipate the opportunities for personal and professional growth that this dynamic and expanding company will provide.

Why is BANF’s technology so important?

For more than a century, the tire industry has experienced minimal change, which is why I am deeply interested and passionate about the transformative potential of BANF's technology. I am eagerly anticipating the ways in which BANF's innovations can significantly advance this industry. Additionally, I recognize the strong correlation and potential applications between BANF's technology and the progress of autonomous driving systems, particularly within the trucking sector. By integrating BANF's technology, autonomous driving systems can be substantially enhanced in terms of safety and efficiency.

What’s your personal vision of the future for BANF?

In my estimation, BANF exhibits substantial potential as a deep tech startup, given the multitude of ways in which its technology can offer valuable solutions. Furthermore, the prospect of expanding into diverse global markets is attainable.
