Someone shared a video with me about police in Japan having nothing to do because crime in Japan is so low and which the video says to be due to only 0.9% of Japanese population owning a gun.
My thoughts:
It seems that it's not about not owning guns but other things which makes Japan so advanced. It seems people created this video to further their agenda of making people weak in an increasingly troubled society in which if the people near Delhi who were killed or gangraped were trained and had guns then the criminals would have been much more scared to do such a thing.
The criminals had thrown nails on the road to stop the car. Let's say if nobody had guns including the criminals but the criminals had swords or other weapons and had killed or gangraped people then the next logical step according to this video would be to ban swords or any of those other weapons.
I wonder how many different "weapons" would be banned including those which criminals can easily make using wood, rocks and metals.
This video is so highly unfortunate for a human to create. I request humans to think better about this. I wish us best as mankind including for our future generations.
If people are trained and licensed to buy, safely keep and conceal carry guns then the criminals would be much more scared. The non-criminals aren't going to go around shooting others by the definition of being a non-criminal. However, they're able to add fear into the criminals to not attack and to better defend and protect themselves and the situation around them in case any criminals are able to get or make any weapons.
There can be mishaps and sometimes the seemingly normal people can lose their mind enough to behave like a criminal, however, society should consider that as a non-normal event and seriously if society started banning things due to non-normal events then that society would've stopped being normal. Imagine the many mothers and elders trained in guns so that if any trouble comes to them or their children then they have a much better chance to defend themselves and just like they wouldn't burn down their house because they have gas to cook food, they wouldn't go around shooting others because they have guns.
If your family, friend or known person was a victim of gun violence then imagine if that person was well-trained and carrying a weapon to protect themselves. Could that have helped that person?
Similarly, who wonders what air quality they got when they were children and what air quality is being got by their children or even their mothers and elders in general?
Best Wishes!

If you've never learnt to use any kind of sword then this video might make you interested. Video ???Description: The film is "Zatoichi Challenged" and the showdown duel is, in my most humble opinion, the greatest Japanese movie sword fight OF ALL TIME! The fading light, the falling snow and two warriors fighting for their respective beliefs. The Samurai blindly obeys his orders while Ichi looks to protect the weak & helpless. The ending is pure Bushido. Enjoy!
