BAMBOO LOUVER SYSTEM - Diverse Applications, High Aesthetics for Interior and Exterior Decoration
The BAMBOO LOUVER system, apart from its primary function of providing shade, is also used as an impressive architectural feature. With various designs such as vertical louvers, rotating louvers, and sunshade louvers.
The materials used are also diverse, including aluminum, concrete, WPC plastic wood, natural wood, and bamboo. Each type of material has its own advantages and disadvantages, varying investment budgets, and construction techniques. At HIASHI, we balance the Green elements, emission reduction, budget, and construction methods to propose bamboo as the superior solution.
Satisfying Diverse Dimensions
Bamboo laminate is manufactured using the method of hot pressing, bonding multiple bamboo fibers (strand woven bamboo) or multiple bamboo strips (laminated bamboo), which allows for the active creation of various dimensions such as squares, rectangles, circles, ovals, with flexible lengths ranging from 1860mm to 6000m.
Let's take a look at the Bamboo Laminate Production Process to gain a deeper understanding of its composition and structure. The finished bamboo laminate is produced using a modern process consisting of 17 steps to create high-quality, sustainable products.
Using mature bamboo poles aged 4-7 years, harvested from bamboo forests that adhere to FSC standards, workers will cut the bamboo into 2-meter-long sections. These sections are then split into evenly sized strips or individual fibers for carbonization treatment.
Carbonization is a processing method that enhances the durability and provides excellent resistance to decay for bamboo. This process typically involves heating bamboo at high temperatures in a low-oxygen environment. During this process, bamboo loses some of its moisture content and organic substances, transforming it into carbon, resulting in carbonized bamboo, a highly durable type of bamboo.
The subsequent stages involve moisture treatment, precise shaving, manual color sorting, applying adhesive to each bamboo stalk, and stacking them into molds for hot pressing with pressures reaching up to 1200psi.
The bamboo laminate is then subjected to a second pressing, evaluated for fire resistance, and shaped into various dimensions as per customer requirements. In the final stages, it is coated with colored oil, and high-precision robot arms are employed for automated UV spraying to enhance wood protection for outdoor use.

Flexibility in Design and Utilization
Bamboo Laminate Strips, with their diverse sizes, thicknesses, and lengths, can meet a wide range of design requirements. They are a GREEN material source that can effectively substitute natural wood. Furthermore, due to their water-resistant properties, Bamboo Laminate is widely utilized for outdoor lam systems.
Decorating interior and exterior walls and ceilings is made even easier with Bamboo Laminate modules that come with pre-installed aluminum profile systems. Accurate, uniform, and speedy installation are outstanding advantages. Bamboo strips are available in dimensions of 20x20mm, 20x40mm, 20x50mm, 30x38mm, and with various spacing options between the lam strips, ranging from 8mm, 10mm, 20mm, to 50mm, catering to specific design requirements.
