Bamboo Health Employee Spotlight: Adam Krawiec

This quarter, we’re excited to spotlight Adam Krawiec , a Senior Software Engineer based in Poland who joined Bamboo Health in 2024. Since joining, Adam has embraced the challenge of managing complex data workflows to meaningfully contribute toward Bamboo Health’s mission of improving lives for everyone experiencing physical and behavioral health disorders. With his technical expertise and thoughtful approach, he’s become an integral part of the team working on one of Bamboo Health’s key prescription drug monitoring solutions, PMP AWA?E?.?

Before joining Bamboo Health, Adam worked as a contractor on various projects, supporting key systems and becoming immersed in the team with a long-term lens despite the short-term nature of contract work. At Bamboo, he’s found a home where he can engage deeply with the entire solution lifecycle.??

“I enjoy being part of a long-term team, where I can express my thoughts, propose improvements and know that my input will be considered,” Adam shared.??

His role involves contributing to the codebase, reviewing others’ work, testing applications and brainstorming enhancements. What sets his work apart is the collaborative environment and the emphasis on quality over rapid delivery. Adjusting to a culture of meticulous planning and resiliency has been a welcome challenge that Adam has embraced wholeheartedly.?

Adam is a consistent and reliable engineer. He is known for completing his work with precision and often asking for more once his tasks are done. When he makes a mistake, he owns it and takes proactive steps to prevent similar issues in the future, which is a testament to his professionalism and dedication.?

One of the most rewarding aspects of Adam’s work has been connecting with his team. Whether discussing architecture with his manager or collaborating on solution improvements, he values the camaraderie and shared goals at Bamboo Health. “The people I work with are not only dedicated to their work but are also great to talk to,” he said.?

For Adam, working at Bamboo Health has been about more than writing code; it’s about making a difference. “It’s rewarding to know that the work we do directly impacts lives,” he said. As he continues to grow in his role, Adam looks forward to contributing further to Bamboo Health’s mission and collaborating with his team to innovate and improve the healthcare experience for all.?

Outside the office, Adam enjoys spending time with his family. Weekends are often spent exploring playgrounds with his son, Emil, or planning trips to the mountains—a favorite destination when time allows. Adam and his wife, Lena, are also eagerly preparing for the arrival of their daughter. When he finds a rare moment for himself, Adam is likely hitting the trails on his mountain bike, cross-country skiing or diving into a good book.?
