ICS2, the EU’s new pre-arrival safety and security system, entered its next phase for maritime and inland waterway transport to or through the EU, Northern Ireland, Norway, or Switzerland. Carriers must submit a complete Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) in ICS2 before goods arrive. Connections to the system had to be made by 4 December 2024.
