BALOCHISTAN has $50 trillion untapped mineral wealth

#BALOCHISTAN is said to be full of untapped mineral wealth around 50$ trillion. It is an irony that the largest province with a population of 12.34 million is a picture of neglect to date.No serious effort was ever made to exploit its natural resources. Untapped mineral wealth Conceivably enough to turn the impoverished province into one of the most lucrative mining centers in the world. 

The world’s most expensive metal molybdenum has been recently discovered in Balochistan. Chagai district is known as copper city. The land of Baluchistan face many historical wars from Pre-Modern Era In the 15th century Mir Chakar Khan Rind , British Era and After independence.

Baluchistan is blessed with abundant natural resources but plagued by poverty. Foreign investment can help unlock the province's riches and transform the lives of its people.

According to a World Bank study  Balochistan has the weakest long-term growth performance of all provinces in the country, With Balochistan's growth lagging behind the rest of Pakistan, its per capita income level has lagged behind other provinces $745. Balochistan has worst social indicators. It scores lowest in 10 key indicators for education, literacy, health, water and sanitation. The province generate only  Rs1.6 billion annually on its own.

The richest natural resource province has worst social indicators.

1. #Reko-diq Gold Mine in #Chaghai Balochistan.

Reko Diq, one of the world’s biggest undeveloped gold and copper mines, in the province has a worth $500bn.

2. #Gwadar Sea-port – home of the Pak-China Economic Corridor.#(CPEC)

Although Gwadar Sea-port  exempted from all local and provincial taxes for 20 years, local and municipal taxes have also been waived but this project will handle 300-400m-ton load of goods annually which will bring more business activities to decrease the unemployment and will turn Pakistan Port Into Regional Giant.

3. Sui Southern Natural Gas Fields in Sui, Balochistan.

4. Borders with neighboring countries – Afghanistan and Iran

5. Potential of incomparable tourism opportunities

The Balochistan coastline extends over 750 kms. From Hub near Karachi to the Gwadar Bay on Pakistan-Iran border. From Ziarat to Jhal, from Bolan to Hingol – Balochistan is a beautiful paradise popular for its hill tops and rugged mountainous terrain. There are many tourist attraction areas in Baluchistan which can generate revenue from tourism, Hingo Mud Volcanoes , Hazarganji Chiltan National Park , Hanna Lake, Quaid-E-Azam Residency, Ziarat.

Despite of above Natural & human resources, the province #Balochistan still remain almost voiceless, having no say in the decision- making process. Its over 50 per cent population subsists below the poverty line. Income-based inequities in human development remain a question mark on the performance of federal and provincial government.

Balochistan is naturally for three type of wealth-Its Coastle belt for trade(CEPEC),Mountians for minerals and range lands(Pastures) for Livestock!

Where in Baluchistan is still unknown. Or it is simply commercial non viable
