Ballintrae makes 'BERRD' Free!
Back in 2009 we engaged a trio of the London School of Economics’ finest to do some market research for Ballintrae. Their research established that there was indeed a market for a definitively neutral source of Exchange Rules & Regulation data. The conclusion of the exercise saw our new student friends winning an award for their Ballintrae project report and we released our ‘Ballintrae Exchange Rules & Regulations Database’, or BERRD (pronounced ‘Bird’) in 2010.
Over the years, BERRD has been an invaluable tool to all our clients and indeed our own teams whilst providing our Enhanced Remediation & Audit services to our clients.
Having historically charged for access to BERRD, we have taken the decision to make BERRD free, hence ‘FreeBERRD’ (nothing to do with Lynyrd Skynyrd!)
Our rationale is simple. Firstly, the intention is to establish ourselves as the definitive source of accurate Exchange Rules & Regulation data and secondly, and then to build on this platform to offer additional, value-add services that do attract a subscription fee.
