The answer is still: badminton!
How is this sport so special? We will experience through three experiments.
The first experiment: a badminton court is set up in space and two robots fixed on the court play fiercely against each other.
In space, due to the weightlessness and vacuum, the badminton will maintain a uniform linear motion during its free flight until a robot changes its motion after hitting the ball head with a racket. We can imagine the process of hitting the ball.
The center of mass of the badminton is close to the ball head, and when the badminton is hit hard, the ball head acquires a very high instantaneous speed, and the badminton is able to turn around and keep the ball head forward within two percent of a second. After hitting the ball, badminton like an octopus with tentacles together, the speed is extremely fast, but the resistance of the air is proportional to the square of the speed, the badminton speed decreases under the high resistance of the air, while the effect of airflow will allow the badminton to produce a rotation around the central axis.
However, more wonderfully, the rotation as well as deceleration will accelerate the process of feather opening, which further accelerates the process of deceleration, making the badminton like a parachute that gradually opens. If the space station is large enough and the two robots are a little farther apart, this badminton may even stop in the air very quickly.
The third experiment: two athletes play badminton against each other on the ground.
This time, gravity will make this movement more complicated. In space and space stations, the badminton is in a weightless state and will maintain a straight line of motion.
