Is Serbia really willing to take the step to Nationalize NIS?
In the previous period, we witnessed how the introduction of sanctions on Russia had a bad effect on the global economic scene and how much it deepened the economic crisis.?
NIS - The oil company of Serbia, which is majority owned by JAD Gazprom Neft, is looking for potential salvation with a takeover by the state. The Government of Serbia is considering taking over majority control of NIS if EU sanctions are extended to this company as well. The aim of the takeover by the Government of Serbia is to provide enough oil and gas for the population of this country. In addition to the nationalization of the company, potential options are also recapitalization or takeover of the ownership stake by another company. Experts say that there is still no reason to worry, but in the case of sanctions, the best option is for the energy sector to be majority-owned by the state to be able to react.

New changes in working conditions and time are on the horizon
To give better rights and conditions to workers, in October 2019, through legislative amendments, Montenegro designated Sunday as a non-working day for the largest number of shops. Three years on it looks like social partners would like to make new changes by signing a general collective agreement. The new general collective agreement could potentially define working on Sundays with an increase in daily wages of around 70-80%. Also, the goal of the new changes is to encourage the sustainability of the Montenegrin economy and preserve jobs. What is your position on this issue? Would the introduction of the working week significantly contribute to the strengthening of the economy??
